Being a Christian married woman is sooooooooooo hard these days (which other days have I known though)...the praying part that is. I pray real good at functions and seem to have it all together but there's a hunger within I can't quench yet reaching for "the Book" and actually reading seems impossible. I find that the minute I want to read the Scriptures, everything needing doing in the house catches my eye.
God knows with finances, kids growing, hubby's needs, in-laws, mom, siblings, career, business, ideas, self-development and just about every other challenge, reasons abound to "work with God", yet somehow I just don't seem able to get me in that direction.
Seriously, what's with that? Lack of discipline, the devil@work, me scared of the demands of Christian living...what?
